Fundraising with our Christmas Card competition
Year 7 and Year 8 students have been busy with their entries for our annual Christmas Card competition. As you can see from the pictures, we have had a range of very creative designs. A big well done and thank you to everyone who has participated.
Each year, Mr Downey choses five designs for us to print as cards to sell and raise money for charity.
Last year we raised over £600 from the sale of our Christmas Cards and we donated the money to two homeless charities, Shelter and Crisis.
This year, we are raising money for Haven House Children's Hospice as well as the FareShare charity.
Haven House has supported hundreds of families, looking after children and young people, from birth, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. It is a local charity, based in Woodford Green.
FareShare is the UK's largest charity fighting hunger and food waste. Food is saved from waste and redistributed to charities supporting vulnerable people. The charity is supported by Manchester United and England footballer Marcus Rashford.
Packs of cards will be available to purchase for £2 a pack or a special offer of 3 packs for £5, all orders should be placed using our online payment system
There will be more information to follow.
We thank you for your support with this charity initiative.
