Operation Christmas Child

Year 7 and 8 students have been busy collecting items to for Operation Christmas Child.     Empty shoe boxes are filled  with a variety of small items which together make a welcome gift for a child who otherwise would not receive a gift on Christmas day.  Watch the video on line to see how excited the children are to open their boxes.

We filled 58 shoeboxes.  Our shoeboxes contain toys, puzzles, soap, combs felt tips, gloves - anything that can fit in the box and is within the regulations!  We put together boxes for girls and boys of different ages.  And once the boxes have been delivered we will be able to find out exactly which country they have gone to.

Since 1990, more than 168 million children in over 160 countries have received shoeboxes on this scheme.  A small shoebox can have a big impact.
