Head of English

Salary: Main Pay/Upper Pay Scale plus TLR1B

(Salary negotiable for a more experienced candidate)

Are you passionate about teaching English?  The English department is an exceptionally successful department whose 2018 results boasted GCSE 9-4 89% and 9-5 79%.  Applications are invited from accomplished practitioners with significant experience in teaching up to A level; who have a clear understanding and commitment to maintain the highest standards of teaching and learning; have an established track record of raising achievement and who possess a strong desire to create an outstanding department that provides excellent teaching to children of all abilities.

The Trustees are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of English who has a commitment to academic excellence and a determination for every child to succeed.   The successful applicant will build on the solid foundations already in place and will have the management, leadership and visionary qualities to lead the department to further success.  

Teacher of Mathematics
(Maternity Cover up to 1 year)

Are you passionate about Maths?  The Mathematics Department is an exceptionally successful department whose 2018 exam results boasted GCSE 9-4 84% and A Level A* - C 84%.  This results in over 50% of the academy’s Sixth Form choosing to study a mathematical subject to A Level. Further Mathematics is also a very popular and successful subject.
