Academy Statement from the Headteacher

Dear Families and our wider community

It is with great sadness that our Academy grieves the sudden death of a much loved student.

Academy opening times are as usual and we will be offering support from counsellors and mentors to all our academy family.  We thank The Brentwood Catholic Children's Society for their immediate support as well as the support offered from our Redbridge support team.

We ask for your continued support at this difficult time and for your patience for those calling into the academy.

We are most grateful for all the support from the local community and emergency services.

I bring to your attention some sources of support that students and parents may find of use at this time:

For students the following support may be accessed;

 https://www.kooth.com/

https://www.childline.org.uk/

https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/for-children-and-young-people/

For parents supporting their children, these sources of advice will be of some support;

We will continue to support all in our academy over the forthcoming days and thank you all once again for your continued support and prayers.

With kind regards

Mr Downey
